You site is very informative. I am doing genealogy research on my great grandmother Martha Elizabeth Willis who was said to be 1/2 Indian born in Missouri Feb 1877. (per Census) Mrd age 14 to Wm Saner in Macon Missouri. Parents deceased, gardianship under Wm Saners' father Jacob Saner. I have absolutley no Idea how to go abt researching her history. Her parents were said to be a man named Willis from Ireland and a full Native American he called Celeste. Am I at a dead end here? Any help would be appriciated. Cheryl

I was sent the URL of your site. I am very impressed. You are doing a great job of getting information out to our people. I am still searching for "my truth" tho I know that a paper trail may never be found. I have searched for the parents of "Meridia" Meredith Collins for over 30 years and Eula Collins Conley 50 years before me. My question to you is who was Chief Mahennip? You say that he was at the "burning of 1728" but I can find no mention of him. On my website I have a NA link. On the front of the NA page, click on NA TIMELINE . Many should find this interesting.

Keep up the good work. Brenda Collins Dillon TIMELINE:http://members.nbci.com/BJ_Dillon/natime.htm

Hello cousins. My husband is Saponi from ground zero, you might say, Fort Christanna, from an isolate clan that's lived there longer than the records. I have links in my family, which ended up in Illinois and Wisconsin, identified as "Blackfoot" which I've traced back to the Saponi. We'd be happy to link to your site, if you'd like. Best of luck in all your endeavors, and glad to have connected.
